ThoughtWorks sets up CoE in Mumbai to fuel India business

Chicago-based IT services firm ThoughtWorks is expanding its India operations with a new centre of excellence in Mumbai.

Unlike its larger peers, ThoughtWorks gets close to 20 per cent of its revenues from India. Added to that, its India business is growing 30 per cent year-on-year, fastest among any other geographies.

The Chicago-based firm is now trying to capitalise on its India growth story to set up a CoE at the Hiranandani Business Park. This takes the company’s total number of India offices to seven, including those in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurugram, Hyderabad and Pune.
