This premium Samsung smartphone has been blacklisted by some banks in the UK

Following problems with fingerprint recognition on its flagship Galaxy S10 smartphone, some banks in the UK have reportedly banned the handset in order to secure its customers. According to a report by 9to5Google, Reddit users have reported that banking institutions of UK such as NatWest and Nationwide Building Society are unauthorizing the Galaxy S10 and S10+ handsets from using their banking apps to carry out transactions.
According to screenshot provided in the report, NatWest UK has “removed the app from the Play Store for customers using Samsung S10 devices.” In the same SMS it also confirmed that the app will be back as soon as the issue is resolved. Other users on Reddit have said that even though Nationwide lets them access the platform but recommends that they remove the fingerprint authentication. Other says that their bank has simply removed the fingerprint quick access to the app temporarily.
