This is the latest feature Xiaomi has confirmed to come to MIUI 12
Xiaomi’s next operating system update, MIUI 12, is set to be rolled out on April 27, along with the Mi 10 Lite 5G smartphone in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has started teasing some features that are expected to come to Xiaomi smartphones in future.
As per the latest post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, MIUI 12 will come with an Always-On Display. This will also come with support for third-party developers.
Another thing that Xiaomi is adding to the MIUI 12 is improvement in the Note app as well as raw to-do list. The to-do list now comes with support for creation of lists.
Previously, Xiaomi confirmed that MIUI 12 will also come with a dark mode feature. Dubbed Dark Mode 2.0 the feature is coming to the Xiaomi phones as part of Wallpaper Dimming.
Xiaomi also revealed that MIUI 12 will also bring a font-weight adjustment feature. This new feature will automatically adjust the boldness of text which will lead to a reduction in glare and blur. The company is building this new feature on top of the dynamic font system which it introduced in MIUI 11.
