These Samsung smartphones will not receive Android 10 OS update

Samsung has revealed the roadmap for Android 10 rollout on its handsets in India. The South Korean tech giant has posted the blueprint of the Android 10 rollout on the eligible models on its Samsung Members app in the ‘Notices’ section.
The list of eligible Samsung smartphones include handsets across price categories including flagship, mid-range to budget. Interestingly, the list of devices doesn’t include the flagship Galaxy handsets of 2017 — Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8. To recall, these handsets — at the time of their launch — were running on Android 7 Nougat-based custom UI. As Samsung promised two major updates for its handsets since their launch, the 2017 models have received them in the form of Android Oreo and Nougat.
Coming back to the schedule of the Android 10 update, Samsung is set to roll out the update to Galaxy S10 series, Note 10 series, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note 9 series first in January. Along with these, it will also roll out the Android 10 update to Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, and the Galaxy A30 in January.
