These apps shared users’ sensitive and personal information with Facebook

There are times – albeit these are far and few in between – when something wrong happens with Facebook, it’s not the social media giant’s fault. A report by The Wall Street Journal reveals that 11 apps have been sharing sensitive personal information users with Facebook. These are health and fitness related apps and WSJ in its report has named just five of the 11 apps. These are the name of the apps and what they actually shared with Facebook:
* Instant Heart Rate: This is a heart rate monitor app and shared heart rate data
* Flo Period & Ovulation Tracker – This app shared when a user was having their period
* Realtor.com – A real estate app that shared the location and prices of listings a user had seen
* BetterMe: This fitness app which helps in weight loss shared personal information like users’ weight and height
