The next foldable Moto Razr phone may get this ‘major’ feature
Motorola made a big stir in the world of smartphones this month by introducing its first ever foldable phone, the ‘new’ Moto Razr. While the device is yet to hit the shelves in the US first, a patent may have revealed what’s next in terms of features. The patent found by Lets Go Digital claims that the Moto Razr 2 could get touch sensitive sides, something we have seen in Pixel smartphones as the Active Edge feature and even some HTC and Huawei devices. The patents illustrations show a handset that folds similar to that of the Moto Razr but with the new, touch-sensitive sides.
The device is said to feature four touch sensors on either side of the phone. While the four of them are seen placed above the hinge, the other four are placed below the hinge. Both will be placed on either side. They can possibly act as virtual buttons for the device.
