The house where the world’s largest e-tailer started is now up for sale
We can quite safely say that a listing of a house going on sale in Seattle won’t really matter, like never. But then this three-bedroom house on Seattle’s Northeast 28 th Street in West Bellevue is not just ‘another house’. This is the house where the world’s richest man Jeff Bezos started Amazon, the world’s largest e-commerce portal. More like in the garage of the house but it’s the same location. And now this house went up for sale for a cool $1.5 million dollars (roughly Rs 10.6 crore).
According to a report by Seattle Times, anyone looking to buy the house will require to fork out $300,000 as down payment. The official listing of the house is marketing the house as “the birth place of Amazon”. It also states that this is a chance to buy a “piece of history”.
