Tender of Kochi-Lakshadweep optic fibre project designed to bar Indian companies: Niti Aayog member

Niti Aayog member and top scientist V K Saraswat sought to halt the government tender of strategic Rs 1,072 crore Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands (KLI) optic fibre project as he questioned it.

Saraswat said that the tender document has ‘deliberately’ been designed to ‘bar Indian companies from participating’.
