Telecom shares slip; OnMobile Global down nearly 2%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading with losses in Wednesday’s afternoon session.

Shares of OnMobile Global (down 1.70 per cent), Aksh Optifibre (down 1.64 per cent), GTL Infrastructure (down 1.35 per cent) and Bharti Airtel (down 1.34 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 1.12 per cent), ITI (down 0.99 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 0.79 per cent) and Sterlite Technologies (down 0.68 per cent) too were trading lower.
