Telecom shares fall; Vindhya Telelinks slumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Telecom shares were trading with losses in Monday’s afternoon session.

Shares of Vindhya Telelinks (down 5.67 per cent), Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) (down 4.86 per cent), GTL (down 4.81 per cent) and Sterlite Technologies (down 4.56 per cent) were trading with losses.

Aksh Optifibre (down 3.80 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 3.66 per cent), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 3.11 per cent) and Tejas Networks (down 3.10 per cent) too were trading in the red.
