Telecom Diary: Will Chinese smartphone dominance reduce in India?

About 55 per cent of the Indian smartphone market is currently dominated by Chinese handset makers including Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo.
The Indian government has directed Chinese mobile phone companies to induct Indian equity partners in their local operations. The companies have also been asked to appoint Indian executives in key roles such as chief executive officer, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and chief technical officer.
