NEW DELHI: The confrontation between telecom carriers and technology providers or the proponents of public Wi-Fi has hit the roof.
The feudal camps, arguing on cornering the 6 GHz frequency band to their side, are yet to see any reconciliation coming following the wireless planning committee’s inability to reach any consensus.
The 15-member group remained indecisive, and left the mid band destiny to the department to carry out coexistence studies, and take a decision prior to 2023 World Radiocommunication Conference, happening later this year.
