Telecom could be a good bet in medium-term: GV Giri, IIFL

Due to the crisis of confidence on the liquidity front, the “wait-and-watch” period got up-fronted from two-three months before the elections to almost a whole year, GV Giri, HoR, Institutional Broking, IIFL, tells ET Now.

If I say that everybody is no longer fixated with consumers and consumer durables and autos, will I be saying right? Also will I be right to say that everybody is obsessed with buying corporate banks and selling NBFCs?

Yes. I mean in consumer and auto especially, one need not do anything more than look at the stock price and that tells the story. As far as fixation with banks is concerned, I would not go so far as to say that people have started concentrating their bets. By no means awe re in a situation like last year where only a handful of stocks took the Nifty up. That sort of concentration is not yet seen.
