Telecom companies need no permission to install cell towers in Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Telecom service providers need no permissions from any authority to install mobile towers on buildings. The guidelines were issued by the UDH department on Friday. “Under the new scheme of things, telecom companies will no longer be required to take permission from the authorities for laying cables or installing mobile towers or poles on private properties, particularly for 5G services. The companies will only be required to submit a written intimation to the UDH department,” said an official of the department. In fact, the new notification has put a ban on anyone lodging a complaint against the installation of 5G towers.
