Tele2 deploys 25,000 5G-ready base stations in partnership with Ericsson

NEW DELHI: Ericsson on Tuesday said it has successfully upgraded European telecoms company Tele2’s infrastructure with 25,000 5G-ready base stations across Russia in just 18 months.

The deployment which covers all 27 regions across Russia, has enhanced the capacity and network performance by 1.7x, Tele2 said in a statement.
