Tech that fights back: Diycam introduces fever detection system to help contain coronavirus epidemic

As reports on the coronavirus, or COVID-19, unceasingly roll in, one of the things that can reduce — if not eliminate — the chances of it spreading is technology.

Take for instance a camera system that can quickly measure abnormal body temperature without making any contact with a person. This way companies can help isolate potential carriers of the virus from entering the workplace and spreading it further. Just one case could potentially lead to hundreds getting infected.

“Our team has been working round the clock to develop a technology for a fever detection system to help contain the epidemic,” said Gagan Deep Randhawa, co-founder of Diycam.
