Tech Mahindra set up pandemic task forces to build a future-ready firm

Pune: Tech Mahindra NSE 3.14 % Ltd. set up internal task forces soon after the coronavirus outbreak to quickly adapt to changes in the marketplace and build a future-ready organisation, a senior executive said.

These task forces—tackling areas like processes, transformation, growth and people—were set up at the beginning of the ongoing fiscal year. “It is a holistic approach, addressing all aspects, and it has started delivering results very strongly,” Tech Mahindra Chief Financial Officer Manoj Bhat said, pointing to improvement in metrics such as margins, offshore ratios and higher digital revenues. “The change is also in terms of scaling up the organisation and building up for what we see as a period of good market traction in the coming quarters,” he added.
