TCS slammed for ‘unethical’ employee transfers, IT workers’ body writes to Ministry of Labour

Software giant TCS has come under fire for transferring over 2,000 employees to different cities without proper notice of consultation.

The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) — an outfit that represents workers’ interests in the IT industry — has written to the ministry of labour and employment to protest against the “unethical transfer practices” of TCS.

NITES issued a statement after it received complaints from over 180 TCS employees who were upset by the transfer orders which had caused immense hardship to them and their families.
