TCS again pips Accenture as most valued IT firm globally
BENGALURU: TCS has once again become the most valued IT company globally with a market capitalisation of $169.3 billion, moving past Accenture. TCS has been helped by a strong rally in IT shares on the back of better than expected third quarter results.
Accenture, which was down 1.6% in morning trade on Monday on the NYSE, was valued at $165.7 billion. Before this, TCS went past Accenture twice — once in 2018, and again in October last year.
IBM’s market cap stands at about $105 billion, Infosys’s at $77 billion, Cognizant’s at $42 billion, and Wipro’s at $33 billion.
