Tata Play Fiber to deploy Nokia gear for Wi-Fi 6 broadband network in India

NEW DELHI: Finnish telecom gear maker Nokia has signed an agreement with Tata Play Fiber to launch India’s first Wi-Fi 6-ready broadband network.

Nokia said in a statement Thursday that increasing broadband usage in residential and enterprise areas creates significant demand for new, high-capacity broadband connections. This necessitates broadband networks to be future-proof and in-home solutions to scale with growing customer needs.
