Tata Communications a beneficiary of cautious sentiment in global markets: CEO

Tata Communications is benefiting from the focus of international companies on cost-optimisation projects amid an uncertain global economy, said AS Lakshminarayanan, chief executive at the provider of cable and data services to enterprises.

He, however, said clients have become cautious, leading to slower spending on 5G trials. For Tata Communications, which late last year opened a facility in Pune to test and conduct trials of industry use cases for 5G, this is a key focus area.
