T-Series is officially the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world

In an epic saga of digital proportions where the winner keeps changing hands almost every other second, India’s T-Series has become the most subscribed YouTube channel in the world. At the time of filing this copy, T-Series had 6,500 more subscribers than its nearest rival PewDiePie. T-Series had 90.458 million subscribers whereas PewDiePie had 90.452 million subscribers. Readers must note that these numbers do keep fluctuating every second.
This isn’t the first time T-Series has become the world’s most subscribed YouTube channel. However, the lead wasn’t as big as this time and was for a very short while. For instance, earlier this month T-Series was ahead for a mere 8 seconds.
For the uninitiated, PewDiePie is Swedish YouTuber who till last year was the undisputed king of YouTube, However, in the last one year or so T-Series has rapidly increased its count of subscribers. T-Series at the start of 2018 had ‘only’ 30 million subscribers but has grown considerably.
