T-Mobile has tied-up with Cisco to launch ‘Connected Workplace’ solution for medium-sized businesses, which comes with nationwide 5G business internet, Cisco Meraki devices and cloud-managed networking platform, all managed by the US telecom operator.

T-Mobile said the Connected Workplace solution offers simple and competitive pricing, and further includes installation, software licensing, and 5G gateway and Wi-Fi access point device upgrades every three years at no additional cost.

The telco said that small IT teams working with medium-sized organisations have faced the daunting task of assembling a complete connectivity stack that connects everything from point-of-sale devices to video surveillance, internet of things (IoT) applications, and more.

T-Mobile said its new business solution aims to solve these challenges by offering unlimited nationwide business internet powered by 5G, while the managed services covers design and onsite installation, 5G gateway and Wi-Fi APs, round-the-clock support and performance monitoring of network and connected devices, as well as, Cisco Meraki cloud-managed networking solutions, including 5G gateways, access point, switches, IoT sensors and smart cameras.

Cisco Meraki Firewall will provide cloud-managed security while Cisco Meraki Dashboard will offer access for comprehensive, cloud-based network management

“With Connected Workplace, we’ve brought together Cisco best-in-class Meraki network technologies with our award-winning 5G network to make it easier for businesses to streamline their network infrastructure, ease the burden on IT and improve operations,” said said Mishka Dehghan, SVP, Strategy, Product, and Solutions Engineering, T-Mobile Business Group in a statement Tuesday.
