Stock market update: Telecom stocks down; Sterlite Tech loses 4%

NEW DELHI: Telecom stocks were trading lower at 02:42PM (IST) on Thursday.

Shares of Sterlite Technologies (down 3.96 per cent), Tejas Network (down 3.79 per cent), OnMobile Global (down 1.38 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 1.35 per cent) and ITI (down 1.31 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Optiemus Infracom (up 4.93 per cent), Reliance Communications (up 4.6 per cent), GTL Infrastructure (up 1.23 per cent) and Tata Communications (up 0.38 per cent) were among the top gainers.
