Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 0.26%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a negative note on Monday.

Shares of MphasiS Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(up 0.32 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
