Stock market update: Nifty IT index falls 0.16% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded negative around 10:55AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

MPhasis(up 0.3 per cent), Infosys(up 0.13 per cent), Persistent Systems(up 0.08 per cent), Tata Consultancy(up 0.08 per cent) and Wipro(up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.
