Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.96%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Monday.

Shares of Wipro(up 1.81 per cent), Coforge(up 1.53 per cent), Tech Mahindra(up 1.33 per cent), Tata Consultancy(up 1.33 per cent) and HCL Technologies(up 1.03 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
