Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.93%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Wednesday.

Shares of Tata Consultancy(up 1.48 per cent), Infosys(up 1.13 per cent), Wipro(up 0.89 per cent), HCL Technologies(up 0.88 per cent) and Tech Mahindra(up 0.86 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
