Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.77%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.

Shares of LTIMindtree Ltd(up 3.22 per cent), L&T Technology(up 3.1 per cent), MPhasis(up 2.84 per cent), HCL Technologies(up 1.49 per cent) and Tata Consultancy(up 0.63 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
