Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.7% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:55AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Infosys(up 1.54 per cent), Tech Mahindra(up 1.17 per cent), HCL Technologies(up 0.99 per cent), Wipro(up 0.82 per cent) and Persistent Systems(up 0.69 per cent) were among the top gainers.
