Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.6% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:04AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

HCL Technologies(up 1.7 per cent), Persistent Systems(up 1.09 per cent), Tata Consultancy(up 0.62 per cent), Wipro(up 0.61 per cent) and Tech Mahindra(up 0.52 per cent) were among the top gainers.
