Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.51%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a positive note on Monday.

Shares of Wipro Ltd.(up 2.05 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.01 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
