Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.13% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:34AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.

LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.13 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.8 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(down 0.46 per cent) and Coforge Ltd.(down 0.44 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
