Stock market update: Nifty IT index advances 0.06% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:09AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 0.45 per cent), L&T Technology Services Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 0.2 per cent) were among the top gainers.
