Stock market update: Media stocks fall; Dish TV dips 5%

NEW DELHI: Media stocks were trading on a negative note at 11:20AM (IST) on Tuesday.

Shares of Dish TV NSE -1.42 % India (down 4.95 per cent), DB Corp NSE 0.13 % (down 2.09 per cent), Hathway Cable & Datacom (down 2.07 per cent), Zee Entertainment NSE 4.88 % (down 1.87 per cent) and TV18 Broadcast NSE -1.75 % (down 1.57 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Sun TV Network NSE 1.64 % (up 2.3 per cent), PVR NSE -1.69 % (up 1.71 per cent), TV Today Network (up 1.13 per cent) and Jagran Prakashan NSE -1.36 % (up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.
