Stock market update: IT shares dip; HCL Tech slips nearly 2%

NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading in the negative zone in Monday’s morning session.

Shares of HCL Technologies (down 1.91 per cent), Just DialNSE -1.83 % (down 1.65 per cent), Tata Consultancy (down 1.36 per cent), Wipro (down 1.35 per cent), Hexaware Technologies (down 1.19 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 0.44 per cent), NIIT Technologies (down 0.27 per cent) and Infosys (down 0.24 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.8 per cent down at 16,225.70 around 10:00 am.
