Stock market update: IT shares advance; Wipro rises over 1%

NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading with gains in Wednesday’s morning session.

Shares of Wipro (up 1.30 per cent) , Tata ElxsiNSE 0.76 % (up 1.13 per cent) , MindTreeNSE 1.16 % (up 1.12 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.94 per cent) were the top gainers in the index.

HCL Technologies (up 0.92 per cent) , Tech Mahindra (up 0.62 per cent) , Infosys (up 0.49 per cent) and NIIT Technologies (up 0.43 per cent) too were trading higher.
