Stock market update: IT shares advance; Mindtree climbs 3%

NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading with gains in Thursday’s morning session.

Shares of Mindtree (up​ 3.55 per cent)​, HCL TechnologiesNSE 2.09 % (up​ 2.57 per cent)​, Wipro (up​ 1.42 per cent)​, Tata Consultancy (up​ 1.09 per cent)​, Hexaware Technologies (up​ 0.92 per cent)​, Tech Mahindra (up​ 0.68 per cent)​, Just Dial (up​ 0.33 per cent)​ and NIIT Technologies (up​ 0.13 per cent)​ were among the top gainers.

The Nifty IT index was trading 0.79 per cent up at 16579.1 around 10:03 am.
