Stock market update: IT shares advance; HCL Tech gains 2%

NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading in the positive zone in Wednesday’s morning session.

Shares of HCL Technologies (up​ 1.53 per cent)​, Tata ElxsiNSE 1.32 % (up​ 1.35 per cent)​, Tata Consultancy (up​ 0.96 per cent)​, Hexaware Technologies (up​ 0.87 per cent)​, NIIT Technologies (up​ 0.7 per cent)​, Tech Mahindra (up​ 0.43 per cent)​, Mindtree (up​ 0.42 per cent)​ and Just Dial (up​ 0.09 per cent)​ were among the top gainers.
