STF arrests cyber criminal wanted in 20 States

The cyber police station of the Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) has arrested a cyber criminal who is wanted in 20 States of the country and allegedly involved in a scam worth at least Rs 28 crore. The accused Mohammad Waqar (33) was arrested from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur. He is a member of the gang which dupes people by luring them to earn quick money by liking YouTube videos and subscribing to YouTube channels, said the deputy superintendent of police of the cyber crime police station, STF, Ankush Mishra.
