STEP bags ‘Digital learning company of the year’ award
Standardized Test of English Proficiency (STEP), an initiative of The Hindu group, has won the “Digital learning company of the year” award at the EdTech Review Summit and Expo 2019.
The award was in recognition of STEP’s success in delivering real, measurable English learning online, with an average learner showing 1.2 points improvement in English proficiency on the STEP scale (a scale that is standardised and benchmarked to global CEFR standards).
STEP delivers a combination of video lessons, live online classes and phone-based coaching to train each learner based on his/her needs.
The effectiveness of STEP’s programmes has been recognised by over 50 colleges, 400 schools and one million learners across India.
