Stellapps, Airtel Payments Bank partner to facilitate banking services for small dairy farmers

NEW DELHI: Dairy-tech startup Stellapps Tuesday said it has collaborated with Airtel Payments Bank to enable cashless payment transfers to small dairy farmers.

Stellapps offers holistic financial management programs across the dairy value chain and strives to improve financial inclusion for dairy farmers through its mooPay fintech platform.

It has been closely working with dairies and their milk collection centers to facilitate direct payments to the bank account of the dairy farmers.

Stellapps observed that a significant challenge for farmers has been the long travel to the nearest ATM or bank branch for withdrawing cash.
