Stakeboat Capital is set to raise its second fund of Rs 1,000 crore

Bengaluru: Stakeboat Capital is set to raise its second fund of Rs 1,000 crore and is looking to tap both domestic as well as global high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors. This comes four years after it launched its first fund to back small and medium enterprises in their growth stages.

The private equity fund received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to set up Fund-II in November last year. It is aiming at first close in the second quarter of the next financial year that begins April 1 and targeting final close in 2022.
