Spotify partners with Obamas’ High Ground Audio for exclusive podcasts

Spotify today announced an exclusive global tie-up with Higher Ground Productions, Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company. As part of the tie-up, the former US president and first lady’s company will product podcasts exclusively for Spotify.

According to Spotify, both Barack and Michelle Obama will be lending their voices to select podcasts. While the music streaming company didn’t mention how long the tie-up is for, it does say that it’s a “multi-year” agreement. “We’re excited about Higher Ground Audio because podcasts offer an extraordinary opportunity to foster productive dialogue, make people smile and make people think, and, hopefully, bring us all a little closer together,” said former President Obama.
