Sony Sports Network secures television broadcast rights for CCL

Sony Sports Network, a leading sports broadcaster in India, has bagged the live telecast rights for the 10th season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). The CCL is set to begin on February 23, 2024 and will feature personalities from India’s film industry, including Salman Khan, Kichcha Sudeepa, Sohail Khan, Akhil Akkineni, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sonu Sood, Manoj Tiwari, Aarya, Jisshu Sengupta, Riteish Deshmukh, among others.

Talking about the mandate, Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer – distribution and international business and head – sports business, Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “Celebrity Cricket League has carved its niche in the hearts of cricket and cinema enthusiasts alike and showcases great entertainment value.
