Sony aims to sell 25 million PlayStation 5 this fiscal year

Sony has increased its full-year forecast due to the sustained momentum of its PlayStation and entertainment businesses. The company is optimistic that sales of the PlayStation 5 will pick up, allowing them to achieve their record-breaking target for this financial year.

The company has adjusted its forecast for its game division, expecting a rise in sales for non-first-party PlayStation games and add-on content. This year, PlayStation gamers can look forward to highly anticipated titles such as Spider-Man 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Expansion, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and EA Sports FC.
