Smartphone shipments from India dipped 10% in first half of 2023: IDC

Indian smartphone market shipped 64 million units in the first half of 2023, 10 per cent lower than the shipments in the first half of 2022, data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) showed on Friday. At 34 million units, the shipments were down 3 per cent in the quarter that ended on June 30 as compared to the same quarter last year.

However, the shipments were 10 per cent higher as compared to the previous quarter, which ended on March 31.
