Smart speakers adoption picking pace in non-metro cities: Study

NEW DELHI: Since their introduction in India, smart speakers have been flourishing majorly in metro cities but now it is gaining momentum in non-metro cities as well as smart speakers have now established their foothold in 54% of the non-metro cities, as per a survey conducted by e-commerce company Amazon India and Karvy.

Smart speakers have been gaining momentum in India as they can be used for a range of purposes including controlling the lights and setting up of gadgets or for getting news updates, among others.
