Slack gets a major redesign, introduces WhatsApp-style direct messaging
Slack has announced a significant redesign to improve organisation, focus, and productivity. The redesign, which includes a more intuitive layout and better organisation to streamline work processes, will be rolled out gradually over the next few months.
The interface has completely been redesigned, with a cleaner look featuring prominent bright purple. The aim is to increase productivity, allowing workers to remain alert even after prolonged screen time.
According to the company, the changes will enable users to navigate the platform with fewer clicks and prioritise important tasks, helping them stay focused and productive. The left-side menu has been slimmed down, and the messaging interface now resembles WhatsApp.
