Sky secures exclusive rights to broadcast ICC events in New Zealand

Sky, a media broadcasting company, has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast all International Cricket Council (ICC) men’s and women’s cricket matches in New Zealand through the end of 2028.

This collaboration brings a total of sixteen international tournaments to Sky’s viewers. These include the pinnacle events of cricket: the Men’s and Women’s Cricket World Cups, the Men’s and Women’s T20 World Cups, the World Test Championship Finals, the U19 Cricket World Cups and the ICC Champions Trophy.

The upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, jointly hosted by the USA and West Indies, will be the first major tournament broadcast under this new agreement. The media company will provide extensive coverage throughout the event, further enriching the experience for New Zealand cricket fans.

In addition to live match broadcasts, the broadcaster will air the “No Boundaries” review show after every BLACKCAPS match, offering in-depth analysis and expert commentary. The matches will be streamed on Sky Sport Now and Sky Go, offering fans flexibility and convenience to follow the action.

This agreement guarantees cricket enthusiasts a dedicated platform to follow all the ICC cricketing action for the upcoming five years.
